Why Blessed Reign Exists: The woman I believe we can become
There comes a time in a woman’s life when she begins to ask deeper questions:
Who am I becoming? Am I living intentionally? Am I stewarding well what God has placed in my hands?
For many women, life can quickly become a collection of responsibilities. We are daughters, wives, mothers, professionals, entrepreneurs, caregivers, leaders and friends. We pour into many people and carry many expectations. Yet somewhere in the middle of all that responsibility, we can lose sight of the woman God is calling us to become.
Blessed Reign Initiative was born from a desire to create spaces where women can pause, learn, heal, grow and intentionally build their lives.
What Does It Mean to Reign?
For me, reigning is not about status, titles or being above others. It is about stewardship.
It is learning to take responsibility for the life, gifts, resources, relationships and opportunities God has entrusted to us.
A reigning woman is not necessarily a woman who has everything figured out. She is a woman who is willing to grow.
She is becoming spiritually grounded.
She is pursuing emotional wholeness.
She is learning to manage her finances with wisdom.
She is discovering and walking in her purpose.
She understands that her life can influence her family, her workplace, her community and generations after her.
Proverbs 31:25 says:
“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.”
That picture of a woman—strong, dignified, wise and confident about her future—is at the heart of what we hope to cultivate through Blessed Reign.
Why Faith, Wholeness, Finances and Purpose?
I have increasingly come to believe that these areas of our lives cannot be separated.
Financial success without emotional health can still leave us empty. Professional achievement without purpose can leave us exhausted. Personal development without a spiritual foundation can leave us searching. And faith that never influences how we manage our money, relationships, work and responsibilities can remain disconnected from everyday life.
At Blessed Reign, we want to have conversations about the whole woman.
We will talk about faith and identity. We will talk about emotional healing and resilience. We will talk openly about money, saving, investing, debt and financial stewardship. We will explore purpose, leadership, career, family and the courage to begin again.
And we will create spaces where younger girls can begin learning some of these lessons much earlier in life.
Welcome to The Reigning Woman
This blog will be a place for those conversations.
Every week, I hope to share a reflection, lesson, practical tool or question that helps us become more intentional about the women we are becoming.
I am also on this journey. I am learning, growing, unlearning and becoming.
So this will not be a space for presenting perfect lives. It will be a space for real growth, practical wisdom, faith and honest conversations about becoming.
My hope is that every woman who visits this space leaves with something she can carry into her week—a truth to believe, a habit to change, a financial decision to make, a prayer to pray, or simply the courage to take her next step.
Because perhaps reigning begins there:
Not by having everything figured out, but by faithfully stewarding what is already in our hands.
Welcome to The Reigning Woman.
Faith. Wholeness. Stewardship. Purpose.
Reflection for the Week:
What is one area of your life that God may be inviting you to steward more intentionally in this season?
